Help Us, Help Them. This year, Gathering on the Green is setting up a toy donation drop-off site at the Mequon Public Market for the Kids2Kids Toy Drive. Kapco's Kids2Kids Toy Drive is the largest known toy drive in the state of Wisconsin. Children are encouraged to go shopping and purchase a toy for low income children in our community and others who face adversity.
Kids2Kids Christmas not only makes an impact on the children who receive the toys, but helps instill the values of caring and giving in the children who donate the toys. Since the program began in 2006, over 230,000 toys have been collected and distributed to families in need.
Put a smile on a child this holiday season by donating a new and unwrapped toy to the drop-off site at the Mequon Public Market. We'll have bins located at the entrances.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Not sure how to send a letter to Santa Claus? We've got you covered! From December 6th to December 20th, Santa has asked Gathering on the Green to help him by collecting letters in our North Pole Mailboxes located at the Mequon Public Market!
Please include your return address in your letter, so Santa Claus can send you a personalized letter back, before Christmas!
You can write a letter to Santa on your own paper, pick up Santa Stationary at the Mequon Public Market, or print off our template! Santa and Mrs. Claus are looking forward to reading your Christmas letters this year!
While you are at the market don't forget to grab a coffee, lunch, dessert, and/or gifts!

Gathering on the Green will provide all participants with basic gingerbread house kits (Christmas or Hanukkah themed, whichever you prefer!), including baked gingerbread walls and roof, edible icing, glue, gumdrops, and so much more. Please fill out our google form to reserve your gingerbread house (googleforms.com) and donate bring an unwrapped toy to gift for Kapco’s Kids2Kids Toy Drive! This sweet contest and toy drive will help all children experience the holiday joy and excitement.

Participants will have the option to enter a completed gingerbread house contest on Facebook or Instagram in two categories: the Christmas House contest or the Hanukkah House contest. Be Creative! The house does not need to be edible. Each participant must post a picture of their house by December 23rd on their Facebook or Instagram stories, tag us (@GatheringontheGreen) and use our hashtag #holidaysonthegreen.
We'll put the top 10 houses out to the The Facebook community to will vote for their favorite house on Thursday, December 24th. Winners will be announced on Friday, December 26th.
