EVENT INFO

Welcome to GOG!

Gathering on the Green, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has grown to become one of Southeastern Wisconsin’s premier producers of summer events, featuring world-class entertainment. Set in Mequon’s scenic Rotary Park, the multiple-day Main Event festival offers the opportunity to enjoy amazing musical entertainment, local food trucks, and beverages while gazing at the summer stars.

Eat & Drink:

Great music isn’t the only thing to enjoy at Gathering on the Green. We offer food and drink options and we allow you to bring in your own food and beverage. Please note that hard liquor, glass containers, or grills are not allowed on the ground.

What to Bring and What NOT to Bring:

What to bring: lawn chairs, blankets or tarps, food, beer, wine, soda, and water. What NOT to bring: hard alcohol, glass containers, grills, pets, and smoking is NOT allowed.

Private Parties:

Create a one-of-a-kind experience by hosting your employee outing, client reception, and much more at the Gathering on the Green July Main Event. View our 2023 Entertainment Packages. (View Brochure)

  • ARE CARRY-INS ALLOWED?
One of the best parts about Gathering on the Green are the amazing picnics. We do allow you to bring in your own food and beverage. Please note that hard liquor is not allowed. Glass containers for food or beverage are not allowed. Please note: there are no grills or open flames allowed on the grounds. We provide food options for purchase. We also offer beer, wine, soda and water.
  • CAN MY DOG COME?
Unfortunately, no. Your furry little friend will have to stay home for this event.
  • IS SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE PARK?
By local ordinance, no smoking is allowed in the park.
  • CAN I BRING MY OWN LAWN CHAIR?
Yes. Small lawn chairs are allowed in the lawn seating section beyond the “ridge,” which is indicated by signs and is roped off to designate its boundaries. We do not provide lawn chairs.
  • ARE THERE FOOD AND BEVERAGE VENDORS?
We are pleased to offer food options for purchase as well as several beverage stations include beer, wine, soda and water.
  • IS THERE RESERVED SEATING?
Yes. We have a reserved seating area and a general admission lawn area.
  • WHAT IF IT RAINS?
In the case of the dreaded R word (rain)…the show will go on as planned. There are no refunds available for tickets even for a rain event. (You may want to bring your rain gear just in case!)
